  • Experience inspirational talks, and have time for reflection surrounded by the beauty of the lake and grounds of Christ the King Retreat Center in Buffalo, MN

The Retreat Master

Monsignor James Patrick Shea is president of the University of Mary, Bismarck, North Dakota, a university known for academic excellence which prepares students in many healthcare professions. He was ordained to the priesthood in 2002, and earned a bachelor’s degree and a pontifical master’s degree (licentiate) in philosophy at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. Among his many experiences, Msgr. Shea has worked with Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity at the Gift of Peace AIDS Hospice, and served a chaplain for the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital in Rome.

Retreat Time

Friday, November 15
Arrival time:
5:30 to 6:30pm (Mass begins at 6:45pm)

Saturday, November 16

Departure Time:  Noon


Private room: $250 per person
Shared room: $195 per person.
Saturday Only: $150 (includes 3 meals),

Students on Saturday only – $70.
Scholarships are available for those in need. If you want to come and money is an issue please just call us!

Price includes meals, (snacks Friday) and lodging.
